What can I say about Vivere-The Best Of? It is the one of the greatest album of Andrea Bocelli. The best from the best, my friends. Unbelievable sound and all-consuming expression:. Is it classical music? No, it’s more then classical music: It’s a pop-classical and all-heart-sound music. Real expression, real love and lots of heat in every note. Please listen it, enjoy music and great voice of Andrea Bocelli. Andrea Bocelli’s latest album has something for everyone. Although it is called a greatest hits album there are, in fact, 4 new recordings to delight the devoted fans such as myself. In addition, all his classic & most beautiful recordings are also here such as “Time to say goodbye” with Sarah Brightman & “The Prayer” with Celine Dion + my favourite of all time “Sogno”. The title song is also a variation on the original but now with some inspirational english lyrics. I would most definitely recommend this album to anyone new to Andrea’s magic but would also urge that establish fans do not reject it as simply a greatest hits re-hash, which it certainly is not.

This is easy listening music, no opera, not for rock fans but for anyone who appreciates “conventional” music performed by a real professional in his field. There is also a version that comes with a bonus DVD which features a concert of operatic arias from the Statue of Liberty, which is the one I own, but would not really recommend unless a die-hard fan.

Andrea Bocelli, who was born in Lajatico, Italy, in 1958, is one of the greatest singing talents in the world today. Andrea has been blind since the age 12, owing to congenital glaucoma and a blow to the head while tending goal during a soccer game. Andrea did not begin his singing career until the late 1980s, when he began performing in piano bars throughout Italy. Before that time, he earned a law degree from the University of Pisa. In 1992 a chain of events accelerated Andrea from piano bar performer to international superstardom: Italian rock legend Zucchero held auditions for tenors to make a demo tape of the duet ‘Miserere’, the track co-written with U2’s Bono, in attempt to persuade Luciano Pavarotti to record the song. In 1993, Bocelli was signed to a record contract after a scout heard him sing during a party. After he was signed, Bocelli began a magnificent career, teaming up with some of the best voices in the business.
